After finishing his school years, Lars joined the military in which he completed his military basic service for nine months with the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), an infantry regiment of the Danish army. It wasn't the right choice for him, so he searched for something else after having completed it , and decided to pursue a degree in biology. As he was busy with this already a half year, Anette came home from an juggler's class and showed him how good she could do juggling after only three days. Lars was thrilled and wanted to attempt it, too. He decided to drop out of college and attended the juggler's academy as well. He also learned fire breathing and performing juggling. After graduation from high school He traveled throughout Europe with two other friends performing on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He came across a children's circus in the next year and learned street theatre and children's theater as well as pantomime.
