Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania she earned her master's degree from the University of Miami. Kolber began her career working at CBS Sports New York City as a video coordinator. She received the Sports Emmy in Miami during her time as a reporter at WTVJ-TV. She has also worked as an anchor for WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She was hired by ESPN in 1993, and was one of the first anchors for ESPN2 when it was first launched. The station was ESPN2 between 1993 and 1999 before moving on to Fox Sports. She returned back to ESPN in 1999 and is currently the host of Monday Night Countdown.
