Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February, 1964. Linney is an American actress who is known for her ability to portray tough characters, but also at risk. Linney was born into a theatre family her father was the playwright Romulus Linney. She graduated in 1986 at Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City, 1990. The actress began performing on Broadway as soon as she arrived, and was later awarded high praise for her performance on Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
